Non mi riferivo al cantante, ma ai cori degli altri componenti, la voce degli Yes già mi è nota (anche se per la loro canzone più commerciale, "Owner Of A Lonely Heart", infatti credevo fossero un gruppettino pop-rock anni '80 e te mi vieni fuori con questi pezzoni ).

Per quanto riguarda l'organista, Rick Wakeman, veramente allucinante. 13 mani a dir poco, c'avevo tutti i peli ritti

Alura, Alura, Alura. You And I devo dire mi è scorsa molto di più della precedente, anche perchè lunga circa la metà. Mi è parso che praticamente ci siano due diverse "sezioni", una quasi "country" (termine che sicuramente sto usando in maniera impropria) con un giro molto armonico e allegro di chitarra ed una più lenta dove ci sono molte distorsioni e massiccio uso delle tastiere, che si alternano (Allegro - Lento - Allegro - Lento - Allegro). Ho udito bene?

E ti manca ancora la modernissima (per l'epoca, si era nel '72) Siberian Kathru...

Senti, ti dico solo che è da stamattina che giro con in testa quel dannato riff di chitarra (tiridududutiridudu tiridududutiridudu). E' flashante da morì il terzo pezzo

Alla fine, quindi, di questa Epopea chiamata Close To The Edge presso i Sì, devo dire che il pezzo che mi è piaciuto di più (tutto sommato) è il secondo brano.

Cuore, mi potresti consigliare album da sentire dei seguenti gruppi/artisti? Sempre se secondo te vale la pena auscultarli

Grazie Lucy! Non è che me lo sia scordato; quelli che ho elencato sono tutti quelli di cui so poco o nulla e che mi piacerebbe approfondire; Zappa, per il momento, non rientra nei miei piani, ma visto che me lo consigli mi scarico pure quello

Reggatta De Blanc. Tralasciando il titolo dell'album (che vorrebbe dì?) l'album presenta una sonorità molto conforme e molto particolare. Sembra un misto fra reggae (genere che mal tollero) e punk. Un album "bianco-nero"; a tratti mi è piaciuto un sacco, a tratti non l'ho apprezzato molto (avrò sicuramente bisogno di un riascolto). Ecco il pezzo che ho preferito (uno dei due che già conoscevo).

Ah, ecco, Reggatta De Blanc = Reggae per i bianchi. Il titolo conferma ciò che il mio orecchio ha sentito

Remain In Light è sicuramente l'album più affascinate che abbia sentito finora. Eclettismo a palla, ma senza mai scadere nel cacofonico, tutto è molto godibile per le orecchie. Questa è la mia top, ma mi sono piaciute praticamente tutte le track.

Assolutamente! Sopratutto il secondo movimento "La Marcia funebre" è un capolavoro.

Forse dovrei cambiare la mia immagine del profilo. Black Celebration è un album davvero magnifico, senza dubbio il punto di partenza per la successiva produzione dei DM. Atmosfere molto dark, con quel retrogusto elettropop anni '80 che ci piace tanto; Rumours ha trovato un serio rivale per la cima del podio. Questa la traccia che vince la palma di migliore.

Mi è piaciuto, ma mi aspettavo molto di più; che sia un album musicalmente valido è indubbio, ma non mi ha convinto quanto mi sarei potuto aspettare; forse mi aspettavo davvero troppo, più probabilmente ho bisogno di un altro ascolto per apprezzarlo. Anyway non c'è stata gara sulla track #1; questa è la mia preferita in assoluto, non solo di Prince, impossibile scalzarla
